Monday Madness – FREE Menu/Weekly Dry Erase Planner with $20.00 Purchase

I thought that maybe this week it would be nice to take a break from the holiday items and feature something that can help you get life planned and organized for the holidays.

  

Maybe you have a totally different life from mine… things are CRAZY at the Archuleta house, (I can’t imagine there is a house with fours kids that isn’t}.  Just trying to keep the kids schedule straight just about makes me insane, there is piano, dance, singing lessons, soccer, and scouts, plus school projects and tests to study for, monthly orthodontist apts., well baby checks.. Monday Madness – Halloween Spiders and Halloween Decorating Ideas

   
Be honest, how many of you still have some Halloween decorating to do?  How many of you haven’t even started.  I think I pulled out three of four things and than got distracted…and to be perfectly honest I still have a spring floral wreath on my door!  Well not matter where you are at in your decorating I promise this weeks deal will just add to the festivities.



This week you can purchase a pack of nine vinyl spiders for only TWO DOLLARS!!!  I know awsome right.  When I designed them l was going for something that was fun and easy to apply (my kids did not want a scary spider).  The result these are so easy peasy to peel and stick I actually give each of my kids a sheet and let them go crazy sticking them all over the house. Last year the decorated the fridge, their beds, the front door, and the hall way.  They had a blast.  I did a little decorating myself and added some to the coffee table in my front room.
 

Monday Madness – Introducing Our Happy Collection

Clear back in July I was shopping and I came across this cute little hello word. I’m sure you’ve seen it, a cursive chunky hello that only measure about 4” tall and 8-9 wide.  I’ve seen it a couple of places since.  Well that little “Hello” is what sparked the idea for this fun little collection, something we are calling our Happy Collection. 

First there is the word Happy.  A chunky little wood piece that measures 3.5” tall, 1.5” thick and is 8” long.



Than there are the bases.  Once for each holiday.



Are you getting the concept.  Paint one cute Happy word and than switch out the basis for each holiday.  Let me tell you I made one for my house and my kids LOVE it.  It’s funny how as they get older making crafts they enjoy means so much.

Monday Madness – Mini Halloween Plaques

Remember Beanie babies?  Remember how people went crazy collecting them, convinced they would be worth something someday?  I like to think of these crazy Beanie Baby lovers when I try to rationalize my need to collect ribbon and scrap book paper.  I don’t have any illusions of reselling my drawers full of paper for cash, but I do fool myself into believing that I may use it all someday.  Recently Kim decided that my weaknesses might be directed for some good and the two of decided Poppy Seed should start selling scrapbook paper, both in the store…and now online.  Let me tell you I have had a ton of fun.

If you keep up with trends and read blogs then you’ve seen Chalkboard prints…they are everywhere.  I have to admit I am kind of infatuated with them.  I love the throw back to antique signs and marketing designs that are usually mixed in with newer fonts and elements.  Plus they are super fun to design.
