Monday Morning Madness – Gratitude / Thanksgiving Chalk Board Art

Sorry this weeks Mon. Madness is a little late, I know there are a couple of you that get annoyed if it’s not posted before the store opens at noon.  I have had some girly girl problems that have made me want to crawl in my bed with a heating pad and curse Eve for partaking of the forbidden fruit.  Lucky for me this weeks Monday Madness is nice and simple, and even fulfills a couple of requests.  This weeks deal is a FREE Gratitude Chalk Board Art with a $20.00 purchase.

Fall Chalkboard Art - Gratitude chalkboard art

This print is our Thanksgiving print, but I have been surprised, while working in the store I have talked to a couple of Relief Society Presidencies that are planning on giving it out as Christmas presents and even more ladies using it as a Visiting Teaching gift.  I am totally going to steal that idea!

To get your free Chalk Boart Art follow the three step below:
1. Add $20.00 worth of retail items to your shopping cart (retail means $20.00 minus tax and shipping).
2. Add the Gratitude Chalk Boart Art to you shopping cart
3. Enter the coupon code GRATITUDE

Now for the fine print.  One per person,if you purchase your items online and choose store pick up please plan on picking up your items in person.  10 available online and 10 available in store.  Sale will last until supplies run out or until Sun. night at midnight, which ever comes first.  Available on a first come fist serve basis.  Well I think that just about covers it.

You can check out the rest of our Chalk Boart Art collection here.

Guest Post - Neighbor Gift Printable

Hi, I'm Nikkala one of the Crafting Chicks and I'm excited to be guesting on Poppy Seed Projects today! This project takes 2 of my favorite things and combines them into a little gift that would be great to give neighbors or friends for Christmas.

First thing that I love? Poppy Seeds miniature frames! You know how small things are adorable? Well, it's the same with these frames! I think they are so fun painted a bright color and left empty on a wall. In fact (don't tell Kim or Holly) I think the mini's are my absolute favorite of all their frames. I used the Miniature Eleanor Frames, sanded and painted a metallic red. Because the frame is so small I decided to keep it pretty simple and just a solid color.

And the other thing I'm loving right now is chalkboard art! So I created this little bitty sign to go inside the frame. You can download them here. They come 4 to a page and are sized 4" x 3" to fit perfectly.

You could use regular tape to hold it all together, but why?! I used red polka dot washi tape on the back. It adds a fun little surprise!

This is one of my favorite Christmas songs, but being election day and all, I guess it's fitting for today too! Don't forget to vote! :)

Great post, Nikkala! We {heart} the crafting chicks and all their fun ideas, and that is a DARLING little printout.  Only seven weeks until Christmas so I had better get my be-hind into start on some neighbor gifts...thanks for the reminder!

Regardless of what you use it for I hope you enjoy!  And don’t forget the sale on $3.00 5x7 mdf shaped frames ends Sunday at midnight.  For more details read this weeks Monday Morning Madness post.

FREEBIE FRIDAY - JULY VTing Tag

Hey all, Friday is almost over but I still have time to post a quick freebie. This is a visiting teaching gift tag designed for July. I tied mine onto some patriotic foamy soap from Bath & Body works (it is on sale for cheap right now!). I think it would also be super cute tied to a firework fountain or a box of sparklers, especially for a family with kids (mine would loooove it if that showed up at our door).

So if your summer is crazy like ours and you have had trouble getting out there, this is a quick way to let your ladies know that you are thinking about them or something fun to bring along on your visit. Have a fun and safe 4th!
