Last week we featured the layered Temple Plaques with the saying, “ I Love to See the Temple”.
 


Well we are not quite done with the layered plaques yet.  This week for the weekly deal we are featuring the new “ I Hope the Call Me on a Mission”, layered Plaque.

I know I am a day late on this one.  I put together this project over a year ago, so I assumed I had pictures.  Well you know what happens when you assume things …

Anyway no pictures meant the projects had to be made, photographed, edited and listed online.  Joy for me.  So here we are a day later and a day late BUT, everything is done.  Hope they were worth the wait.

Be honest now how many of you are done with your Christmas shopping?  Seriously I mean every little last bit, teacher gifts, presents for you siblings, something for your important friends?  Well if you are like me and still have a few people to check of your list we would like to make a suggestion.

School started at our house last week.  I was sad summer flew by so quickly and my little buddies wouldn't be home all day anymore - I wasn't ready!  Then the day before school started they drove me CRAZY at the grocery store and as punches were flying at the checkout stand{between them, not me!} I had a change of heart, haha.  Regardless of how I felt they were ecstatic to go back to school and that is all I can ask for, right?

As summer winds down I wanted to share a fun freebie for all of those last summer parties and camping trips.  We did a killer s'more bar for our Relief Society BBQ a couple of weeks ago, and it had every body drooling for dessert before we even ate dinner!  Since it was Relief Society we had to make it cute - a bag of marshmallows and a box of graham crackers just wouldn't do...

From Frame to Wreath Guest Post

Hello there!  I'm Ashleigh and I blog with my sister over at bee in our bonnet!  We write about all of the projects, baking and craziness that takes priority over laundry!  We were lucky enough to meet the ladies of poppyseed projects at SNAP!  They are so fun and were such great teachers at our class.  We became instant fans of their products and have a wish list/idea list a mile long.

I'm excited to share a little Halloween project I made with one of their frames.  (This is the only time I will be 3 months ahead of the game in my holiday crafts...I'll go back to procrastinating in a sec.)  I've seen lots of frames turned into wreaths so I knew the poppyseed frames would be perfect for a 

wreath-ish situation on my door.  

I am completely in love with the Jaxson frame!  I want one in every room of my house.  I feel like you could make it look formal and classy or cutesy and fun, depending on how you use it.  I went for the cutesy look this time.  It came unfinished (and ready for endless possibilities).

1. I Love to see The Temple

I had this one in mind for my daughter.  It would make a great gift for that special Little Miss in your life. I was going to wait for Christmas to give my Little Miss hers but she saw it and fell in love.  Her favorite song to sing is I Love to See the Temple.  We sing it every night.

Charity Never Faileth Bookmark

Have we ever mentioned that Kim is the second counselor in her wards RS Pres.?  Not something she goes around announcing to people and she’s probably going to be embarrassed that I’m mentioning it here.  The reason that I bring it up though is because of the effect that it has had on some of our conversations.  Over past six months we have talked with a new awareness about the role RS plays in the lives of women around the world and in our own wards.  We’ve also talked about the need for cute hand outs for church (:  With that in mind I created this book mark. 

I have always LOVED the RS motto.  Nothing could be more encompassing of the role women play in the lives of their families, their wards and their communities.  It inspires me to be kinder, more thoughtful. . .and just plain better.
