This was going to be a contest open to voting, but there were only two entries and one was going to Girls Camp this past week. Ha! That will teach us to do a girl's camp contest after 90% of the wards out there have already gone. We'll do better next year!
So on to our winning group. Even though they were the only valid entry, they are darling and I think they would have won anyway. The entry was placed by Erica, a young women's leader in Las Vegas, NV. This is what she has to say about her group of girls:
"I have been with this young women's group for 4 and 1/2 years. We have made trips to our temple several times, the St. George temple, and the Salt Lake Temple. Every trip we make to the temple, including all of our local temple trips we take a picture. As a leader and for the young women it is fun to look back as these young women get older and grow up together and are making it to the temple together. Our entire goal as a group is to get us all their to a temple together, someday. No empty seats in this young woman group!!!!"
Love it, love it! Isn't that such a fantastic goal to have? Congratulations to Erica and her group - you get to pick 50 young women kits for girls camp! Maybe something centered on the temple...
