Guest Post - DIY Mother's Day Serving Tray Made from Shaped Frame

Hi! Mariah here from Giggles Galore, I’m excited to be here sharing an easy and inexpensive idea I’m sure you will love.
Mother’s Day is just around the corner and we all know mom could use a little pampering. Why not serve mom a special breakfast on this DIY Serving Tray using a stylish shaped mdf frame from Poppy Seed Projects!
This modern serving tray is an easy DIY project that will make a big impact. Let’s get started.

1. Pick your Poppy Seed shaped frame. I used the Skyler Frame for a modern and whimsical look.   Spray Paint your frame.
2. Choose a coordinating patterned paper and adhere it to the provided white frame backing. I used a gift bag from the Target Dollar Section, the slick surface of the bag was perfect because it repelled water and made clean-up easy. If you use regular paper I would suggest sealing it or using a thin piece of glass to protect it.
3. Spray paint two drawer pulls and attach to each side of the picture frame. I choose a sleek modern design to coordinate with my funky paper.
4. Put together a delicious breakfast and surprise mom with breakfast in bed this year on Mother’s Day!
Or let mom pick out her favorite breakfast choices with my Mother’s Day Room Service door hanger. I’ve created a free download to help you pamper mom and give her the morning off, complete with breakfast in bed on a fun DIY Serving Tray.
