10 Handmade Mother’s Day Gift Ideas – {Picture Projects}


Gifts with pictures are ALWAYS a big hit with Mom’s and Grandma’s alike.  Here is a list if our favorite picture projects.  Not only will these Mother’s Day project ideas help save you money but the fact that they are handmade is just another plus.

2. Picture Plaques – We carry these is a variety of sizes including 5x7, 8x10, 11x14, and of course 12x12 (shown above - $10.95).  Mount them to the board with our Print Mounting Glue and then texturize the top with our Texturizing Cream to create a canvas feel on your photo.

2. Eleanor Shaped Picture Plaque {$12.95} - A simple update on our classic Picture Plaques.   The Plaques come in either a rectangle. . . .

3. Doesn’t get much cheaper than $1.50 and $2.50 for our Picture Blocks.  Kit comes with block and the easy to follow step by step instructions on how to change a simple block into a meaningful home accent piece.  Add Texturizing Cream for the final touch (and to protect your pictures).

8. Family Portraits {$49.50}  – Another project that has been around for awhile, but it still an absolute favorite.  In this project you take an 11x14 picture, choose from four different print options to matte your picture on and than personalize it with a wide variety of vinyl choices.  Viola in the end your family picture becomes a piece of art.  Kit includes the chunky frame shown!

9. Subway Art Frames {$20.95}  - 16x16 board with a cut out for a 5” square picture.  I love of this project not only because it is super on trend, but also because it is easy to switch out the picture and even easier to find a spot for it in your house.
